Celebrating the Eucharist

by Benjamin Gordon-Taylor and Simon Jones

Alcuin / SPCK (2005)

This Anglican eucharistic manual is suited to the needs of different parishes.  It provides those clergy who have neither the time nor the opportunity for more extended study with some advice on which they can rely.  Celebrating the Eucharist helps users to combine what is practical with faithfulness to the Catholic tradition as it has been received by the Church of England.  Relevant to Common Worship, this book is of value beyond a particular rite and will prove useful to those of differing theological backgrounds.

Simon Jones is Chaplain and Fellow of Merton College, Oxford, and also teaches liturgy in the Faculty of Theology in the University of Oxford.

Benjamin Gordon-Taylor lectures in liturgy and ecclesiology at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield, and is also Director of the Mirfield Liturgical Institute.
